History stars in the making…
Our students in Y10 have been working extremely hard in their History sessions over the past two weeks. We have been learning about different aspects of Viking life in their homelands of Scandinavia, from the food they ate to their religious beliefs and the rituals they practiced.
I have been really impressed with their work ethic, contributions to classroom discussion and the craftsmanship and quality of their work. Check out Logan and Harvey’s beautiful books below!
Next week, Y10 will be working hard planning and completing their first formal assessment on the Vikings. If they continue this level of concentration and continue to graft, I am sure they will be very successful and proud of their achievements.
Keep up the great work Y10!

C28 English
There has been some beautiful work produced across C28 in English sessions as part of the Being Human expedition. Students have begun to explore our new anchor text ’We Rise, We Resist, We Raise Our Voices’. There were some excellent examples of quality and craftsmanship alongside some mature and insightful ideas predicting what the book may include.
We are all very excited to get reading!
Our E28 / Year 8 students recently followed the GoGoMo (Give One, Get One, Move On) protocol to help build and test their understanding of regular Spanish verbs. As can be seen in the photos below, it involves plenty of action and student interaction, and I wish to praise their very high levels of engagement in this session.
Our E27 / Y9 GCSE Spanish students have got off to a flying start this year. I would like to appreciate their high levels of engagement and productivity in focused pair work as they practise how to express opinions of TV shows in their foreign language sessions.
C29 have had a brilliant day delving into the wonders of number at @bletchleypark. We’re due to arrive back to school at 5:20pm. Students can be collected from Car Park 3 when we arrive.
