XP Trust – SEND Virtual Q&A for Year 6 parents

IMPORTANT, CHANGE OF DATE: Due to an Ofsted Inspection in XP East this event will now take place on Thursday 14th October at 4:30pm – 5:15pm.

We apologise for the short notice of this change, but in the new school inspection framework we are in turn given short notice before inspection begins.

This will be an opportunity for parents of potential Y7 students in our secondary schools to ask any questions related to their child’s special educational needs and how we deliver our curriculum. To prepare for the session, we would appreciate it if you could add your questions to this form.

To join the session click on this link. As we are an educational establishment, you will need to sign in to a google account to join the session.

Ofsted Inspection

Ofsted will be visiting our school tomorrow, Tuesday 12th October, for two days. Please see the below letter and guide for parents.

Good Morning,

I hope you’re well.

We have a very special evening event coming up with one the biggest technology companies in the world; IBM.

On Wednesday 13 October, 5:00pm – 6:00pm we’ll be hosting an evening event with some of the world’s top Business & Technology professionals. This is their first event of the new academic year and they don’t come around very often. Come and join us to hear all about what it’s like working for one of the world’s largest tech companies.

It’s open to all Y11 /  Y12 / Y13

At IBM, work is more than a job — it’s a calling. To build. To design. To code. To consult. To think along with clients and sell. To make markets. To invent. To collaborate. Not just to do something better, but to attempt things you’ve never thought possible. To lead in this new era of technology and solve some of the world’s most challenging problems.

Hear about some of the exciting projects they are working on as well as their school leaver opportunities, insight days and gap year placements.
