Triathlon

Toby, one of our Year 10 students had the opportunity to compete in a triathlon this weekend in York. This consisted of running, swimming and shooting. He put in three solid performances across all of the disciplines. Toby not only competed, but qualified for the national championships which is only 4 weeks away! What an effort and everyone at XP East would like to congratulate Toby on his achievement!

What a fantastic half term in PE

We have a jam packed 6 weeks of sport in PE. After the break we come back and we will have a few changes to the extra curricular programme and a new block of sport for PE, so keep your eyes peeled.

This last week our Year 7 and 8 Netball teams played at home against Hungerhill. The girls played a fantastic game and we cannot wait to play our last remaining few games after half term.

E29 COHORT PASSAGE 100% PASS RATE!

What can we say?? We are SO PROUD of our students. We are more than happy to boast about the fact that the students over here at XP East, with only a handful left to present, have so far achieved a 100% pass rate. Trust us, this is not easy. We set standards high for our students, and they have definitely risen to this pressure. Here are photos of some of the moments along their journey. Massive WELL DONE for all of your hard work E29!

What a treat!

Crew Rosa Parkes have had an incredible start to 2025. All students passed their SLC presentations, achieved some amazing praises from teachers. I am so proud of all the students in Crew Rosa Parkes they demonstrate all of the character traits of Respect, Integrity, Craftsmanship and Quality, Compassion and Courage. As a treat we spent our crew time enjoying breakfast together at McDonalds.

Keep up the great work everyone. Happy holidays. Miss O’Grady

WOW!! Basketball Leaders

Our sports leaders supported Legacy Sport over 3 consecutive weeks leading a basketball primary event at XP School. Students were involved as referees, time keepers, score keepers and provided general support throughout the event. It was fantastic to see them step up and lead. The feedback we received was amazing from Legacy sport after the events. “What fantastic role models you have here at XP/XP East.”

Well done to all those leaders. Keep it up.
