I really do have to praise Y7/E25 Pioneer’s productivity in Spanish this afternoon! Starting with family presentations delivered by Taylor and Denim, continuing with two spontaneous rounds of applause for Dylan S and Thomas, and concluding with Thomas’ correction of Denim’s Extended Study task, this group got smart, worked hard and were kind towards each other throughout. We look forwards to reviewing other students’ family presentations.
Dylan’s levels of literacy were such that he was able to articulate connections between the English word “tertiary” and the Spanish words for “three” (tres) and “thirty” (treinta). He even tried to recall the French word “trente”. There were also some very intelligent notices and wonders centred around larger numbers!
