Please find attached a Y11 calendar for the forthcoming year.
On here, you’ll find key dates for things like SLCs, half term holidays, staff days – and most importantly, summer 2023 exam dates. Please note that we are waiting for Spanish speaking exam dates to be confirmed by the exam board.
Y11 are due to finish school the week beginning July 3rd – there will be optional activities taking place during this week, and organisation and dates will be released slightly later in the year – and prom (if students choose to attend) is at Mount Pleasant on July 13th 2023. Further information around other dates will be communicated throughout this term.
On the final page of this calendar, you will find timings of revision sessions taking place in school. Students also now need to be completing a higher level of revision at home – individual subjects will be able to offer guidance around this.
January Key Dates:
| 14th | 9.30am-12noon | D6 – Saturday revision session | D6 will run in XP East’s study area. Y11’s are encouraged to drop in any time; we have a fantastic team of Student Coaches on hand to help with extended study and revision tasks. |
| w/b 16th | As per booking slots | Y11 SLCs | If you have not yet received your invite to book an appointment, please contact your child’s Crew Leader. |
| 26th | 5pm-6.15pm | GCSE Information Evening | This will focus on exam layout/content, exam dates, revision/work required for each exam and component. Subject leads and teachers will also be around if you have any questions. |
