We are pleased to announce that XP. East’s first ever book will be officially launched in front of a selected audience – which will include The Civic Mayor – at Waterstone’s on Thursday, 11th October at 1.45pm-2.45pm.
‘Society, Steam and Speed’ showcases the work our current Year 8’s did during their first ever expedition at the school last year, and explores how the railway industry has influenced Doncaster’s community. The book is available to buy from Waterstone’s for £7.95 – a perfect little stocking filler!
Parents of our current Year 8 students are welcome to attend, but please be aware that not all students will be at the launch. We will let you know if your child is involved in the event, just in case you want to come and support them.
Students will be brought back to school after the launch and dismissed at the usual time of 3.15pm.
