We have had a few parents who have received fines which are not correct. The camera picks them up entering the car park, but not leaving. It then picks them up as leaving on the second occasion. This appears as though they have been in the car park for several hours, which we know if not true.
We have been told by Parking Eye that this could be as a result of cars queueing out of the car park bumper to bumper and the registration is blocked by the car behind. The camera then does not recognise that car as leaving.
Please can all parents be mindful when queueing in and out of the car park to leave a good distance between themselves and the car in front. This will hopefully avoid any future fines.
