The Friends of Hyde Park Cemetery will be exhibiting some of our students’ railway-inspired stories and artwork, which they produced as result of this fantastic fieldwork to the cemetery during our first expedition.
This work will be published in our upcoming book, ‘Society, Steam and Speed: What Does the Community of Doncaster owe to the Railway?”
So if you want a sneak peak, please do go along to the Doncaster Local History Fair, at Doncaster Museum & Art Gallery on Chequer Road on Saturday 28th April anytime between 11am and 4pm.
The Local History Fair is just one event being put on as part of the 8th Annual Doncaster Heritage Festival.
