What a fantastic evening. Firstly I’d like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to all the parent, carers and family members that came to support students on their big night. Having an authentic audience really gave students a real opportunity to share what they have learn’t since the start of the school year. 
Our learning didn’t stop there though. We got together as a whole school the following day for a debrief. During the session students worked alone and then in pairs to unpack the COL, considering ‘what worked well’ and ‘even better if’. This gave students a real opportunity to use their voices and explain to staff how they felt the evening had gone and what they think could be done differently in the future. Everyone fully engaged with the process and the feedback students gave was kind, specific and helpful.
