We just wanted to make parents/carers aware that our students will be taking part in the Pupil lifestyle project which is carried out by Doncaster council.
This Survey has already been running for the past 3 years, the survey is a 25-minute online survey asking a range of questions covering key themes which include: physical and mental health, life at home, Nutrition and oral health, keeping safe and attitudes to risk taking.
The pupils complete the survey during Crew time over the next week. The survey is completely anonymous.
As crew leader, I cannot begin to tell you how proud I am of this group! From route planning, cooking, cleaning, walking…. they were PHENOMENAL! Conditions for the two days were less than ideal with temperature between 26-29 degrees, no cloud cover and open fields. BUT that did not stop them at all, they just got on with it! Crew Windsor showed amazing resilience in times when they got lost, they reset and didn’t let it deter them from completing the task. Even once we had got back to school to complete the degunge, Crew Windsor were still in good spirits even though exhausted, doing a thorough job in quick time! We couldn’t have done all of this without the help of our expedition lead Mr Morrison who is an absolute legend! …… Mrs Ayre
The weather has maybe been too kind to the group but they’ll soon be out of the sun!
As shared previously, groups are expected to return to XP East and be completed by 4 – 4:30pm depending on how long it takes to degunge their resources!
Students will be able to share confirmed times nearer to the time.
