Crew Windsor have been getting on top of the lost property over the last week! There isn’t much, but if you recognise any of your child’s belongings, they are at XP East stairs for the next few days. If unclaimed they will be donated to a local charity shop.
Friday 25th April Netball fieldwork to watch Leeds Rhino’s V Nottingham Forest at Canon Medical Arena. Please can students be at XP East for 17.15. Students will need to have had their tea before they come to school. Students can buy food, drinks and merchandise at the venue using card payment. It says that you are not permitted to bring food and drink into the venue and can only take a bag in A4 size bag. However students can take sweets and drinks on the bus. We will return to school at 22.15 if there are any changes to this we will get students to contact parents.
The XP cheerleading team will be competing away this Thursday 24th April. We will be leaving at 3:15 and will be arriving back around 17.30 (We will contact parents on the way home). Any changes we will update via blog. Wishing them the best of luck.
E29 had a fantastic and full-on first week back after the break! They’ve successfully completed their expedition “You Give Me Fever” and impressed everyone with their powerful POL (Presentation of Learning) on Wednesday night — a brilliant celebration of all their hard work and learning.
To round things off with some Easter cheer, we took part in a timeless classic: the egg and spoon race! Never too old for a bit of fun — and of course, a well-deserved choccy treat for all the effort!
Our Year 10 students are now at a stage in Key Stage 4 where they are ready to undertake their first round of mock GCSE examinations. These will take place during the week commencing April 28th. As this is the first set of mocks students have done, it will not be a full set, and instead students will sit a small sample from each of our core subjects to get them used to the process of preparing and sitting exams.
