Cerys’ Bake Sale went ahead as planned on Wednesday 6th February…and there was so much cake we had to repeat it on Thursday 7th too! Well done and thank you to all the students and staff involved, both for baking and selling so many delicious treats. Crew Turing even spent over an hour after school on Tuesday evening making additional muffins, cakes and sweeties.
Crew Turing and Crew Ali then made sure the room was completely de-gunged on Friday, as after all, at XP East we make sure we leave no trace.
Zach was the proud winner of the Chocolate Explosion prize, after buying 26 raffle tickets! He used his maths skills as he knew this would increase his probability of winning, as well as contributing a significant amount to a great cause.
The final amount raised was £134.72 which will be donated to The Sick Children’s Trust, which supports families with critically ill children; a cause very close to Cerys’ heart and one which many of our students feel strongly about.
